Day – 1 – Cochin

A warm welcome by our representative greets you after your arrival in Cochin. Proceed to the hotel for check in. Later, enjoy a sightseeing trip of Cochin.  Cochin is nothing less than a jewel in the treasure trove of Kerala. Visit St. Francis Church, Vasco House, Jewish Synagogue, and Dutch Palace. Walk along the beaches to view the ships, Chinese fishing nets, and the sparkling waters. Overnight at the hotel.

Day – 2 – Cochin – Munnar

Set out for Munnar after breakfast. On arrival, check in at hotel and unwind.   Munnar’s cool air soaked with the aroma of spices is refreshing for those who have been pent in the city for long. The lofty mountains, lovely valleys, and serene atmosphere make Munnar an eternal favorite. Overnight at the hotel.

Day – 3 – Munnar

Explore the beautiful hill station of Munnar.  Some of the spots not to be missed are the Tata Tea Museum, the CSI Church and the Blossom International Park. If you’ve long been yearning for moments of solitude, get in to the underground meditation center of the park. Overnight at the hotel.

Day – 04 – Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar)

Next morning, start driving towards Periyar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and take rest. On evening, enjoy boat riding at Periyar Lake. There are also a few tribal villages to explore. Overnight at Hotel.

Day – 05 – Thekkady – Kumarakom

Travel to Kumarakom after breakfast. On reaching, move to a hotel and after lunch visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary on the banks of the Vembanad Lake. The sanctuary is home to an amazing variety of birds.  Kerala is best known for its backwaters and an extensive portion of Kumarakom’s beauty lies in the panoramic stretches of palm-fringed backwaters. Overnight at the hotel.

Day – 06 – Kumarakom – Alleppey

After the breakfast proceed to the boat Jetty to board the beautifully decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruising. The backwaters of Kerala is a unique product of Kerala and is found no where else in the world. A glide in a “Kettuvallam” (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. You’re in a watery universe, so quiet, even you can hear your own blood pumping around your head. Sparkling greens, emerald backwaters, coir-laden houseboats and magical beauty heals your mind and body as you travel to surreal Kerala.  Overnight stay in the Houseboat.

Day – 07 – Alleppey – Kovalam

After the breakfast proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam beach is known as the “Paradise of the South”. This dreamland is an evergreen, serene, pleasant climatic and enticing beach destination. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore on your own to see how the everlasting sea touches the everlasting sky. Kovalam is the place where one can see the golden sand at the day time & silver sand in the night. Day – 08  -  Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

After the breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Trivandrum. Thiruvananthapuram literally means Ananthapuri, “the city of Ananthan”, the Thiru (Great/Lord) Ananthan’s Puram (City). Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu reclines. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city. Other sightseeing places are Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, the name Kuthiramalika means ‘palace of horses’ derived from the frieze of 122 wooden horses on the exterior walls. Veli Tourist Village,which has an excellent waterfront park with a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities like fishponds, wading pools and landscaped garden. Shangumugham Beach where one can watch the amazing sunset.  Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day – 09 – Kovalam – Trivandrum

The blissful holiday in Kerala comes to an end today. Proceed to the airport in Trivandrum and board the flight back home.

Day – 01 – Kochi

Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Kochi Airport/ Railway Station and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore the rest of the day at your own leisure by moving around on the local several quaint spots.  Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day – 02 – Kochi –  Munnar (158 kms. – 04 hrs.)

After the breakfast proceed for Half Day sightseeing of Kochi. Kochi is having the best preserved history of colonial times and the ideal way to bring it alive is to take a walk down memory lane. The major tourist attractions are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace.

Thereafter proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility – the idyllic tourist destination in God’s own country. Munnar is the gateway of Hills in South India. On the way you can also watch the lovely waterfalls in Cheeyappara and colourful flowers in Blossom Garden. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Day – 03 –  Munnar

After the breakfast proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens.  Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day – 04 – Munnar –  Thekkady (110 kms. – 03 hrs.)

After the breakfast proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Natures own little hideout nestled in the hills of Thekkady. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Visit the local spice market for some garden fresh spices and handicrafts.  Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day – 05 – Thekkady

After the breakfast proceed to the most attractive feature of Thekkady i.e. Periyar Wild life Sanctuary. The place where one can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Day – 06 –  Thekkady –  Houseboat (150 kms. – 04 hrs.)

Day – 07 – Houseboat –  Kanyakumari (250 kms – 06 hrs.)

After the breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari the land of virgin goddess. Kanyakumari an important pilgrim centre of India, is famous for the Amman Temples – a symbol of unity and sanctity – dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To its South – East lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a blend of all architectural styles of India. Overnight stay at hotel in Kanyakumari. Thiruvalluvar Statue, the memorial statue of Thiruvalluvar is in Kanyakumari. End your day by watching the spectacular sunset there.

Day – 08 – Kanyakumari – Trivandrum –  Kovalam
